Rules & Regulations
Bharath Matriculation Higher Secondary School maintains a high standard of discipline and expects every student to follow the rules sincerely. These guidelines are framed to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.
Student Code of Conduct
- Students must come to school on time and attend the morning assembly regularly.
- Wearing proper school uniform with neat appearance is compulsory on all working days.
- Students should maintain discipline, respect teachers, and behave politely with peers.
- Speaking in English within the school campus is encouraged to improve communication skills.
- Students must bring their school diary and necessary materials every day.
- Personal belongings such as books, lunch boxes, and stationery should be handled responsibly.
- Use of jewellery, unwanted materials, or prohibited items is strictly not allowed.
- Students are expected to maintain cleanliness in classrooms and school premises.
- Any damage to school property will result in strict action along with compensation.
Attendance & Leave Rules
- Regular attendance is mandatory for academic success.
- A minimum of 80% attendance is required for promotion.
- Leave letters must be submitted in advance for planned absences.
- Half-day leave is not permitted under any circumstances.
- Students should not remain absent on reopening and closing days of the school.
Behaviour & Discipline
- Disobedience, negligence of studies, or disrespect towards staff will not be tolerated.
- Any form of misconduct, cheating, or indiscipline may lead to strict disciplinary action.
- Students must not leave the classroom or school premises without permission.
- Bringing or circulating magazines, unwanted materials, or prohibited items is not allowed.
- Any involvement in unacceptable activities inside or outside the campus will lead to serious action, including dismissal.
General School Rules
- Students should maintain personal hygiene and come in neat, well-ironed uniforms.
- Boys should maintain proper haircut and grooming standards.
- Eating during class hours is strictly prohibited.
- Participation in games and school activities is compulsory.
- Students must follow instructions given by teachers and school authorities at all times.
Parent Guidelines
- Parents are requested to ensure punctuality, regular attendance, and discipline of their children.
- Parents should not meet teachers or students during class hours without prior permission from the Principal.
- Attendance in Parent-Teacher Meetings is mandatory.
- Any communication or concerns must be addressed only to the Principal.
- Change of address or contact details must be informed to the school office immediately.
Administrative Policies
- The school management reserves the right to modify rules and regulations when necessary.
- The decision of the management will be final in all matters.
- Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
- Transfer Certificate will be issued only upon prior request with applicable fee.
